Water with a Kuwaiti Story

Kadhmah Water represents the practical application of Kuwaiti scientific research.

Its source water is drawn from beach wells located near Kuwait’s coastline. Before reaching the wells, the source water passes through underground coastal layers of sand and soil, providing a degree of natural subsurface filtration.

The extracted source water then undergoes a carefully controlled treatment and desalination process developed through KISR’s scientific research and technical experience.

The final product is a low-sodium drinking water containing only 2 mg of sodium per litre.

What Is a Beach Well?

A beach well is a specially designed well located close to the shoreline.

Source water reaches the beach well after moving through underground coastal layers of sand and soil.

Instead of taking water directly from the open sea, the beach-well approach extracts source water from below the coastal surface. The extracted water then undergoes treatment, desalination and quality-control procedures before bottling
