From Scientific Research to Your Table

Kadhmah Water was researched, developed, funded and produced by the Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research.

The project demonstrates how scientific knowledge and water-treatment research can be transformed into a practical Kuwaiti consumer product.

It also reflects KISR’s commitment to developing research-based solutions that support Kuwait’s scientific and technological development.

The Kadhmah Water Journey

1. Coastal Source

Saline source water moves through natural underground coastal layers of sand and soil.

2. Beach-Well Extraction

The source water is extracted through specially designed beach wells located near Kuwait’s coastline.

3. Treatment and Desalination

The extracted water undergoes a carefully controlled treatment and desalination process.

4. Quality Control

Water quality is monitored through scientific testing and quality-control procedures.

5. Bottling

The finished drinking water is bottled, packaged and prepared for distribution and delivery.
